  • The word Tahoe means 'the lake.' The word vodka means 'little water.' Tahoe Blue Vodka means 'the little water of the lake.' One more reason to sip Tahoe Blue by the beach.
    Truth #18
  • Vodka is said to have been originally created for medicinal purposes. So, it’s understandable if you refer to yourself as "Doctor" when you enjoy Tahoe Blue Vodka.
    Truth #96
  • Our vodka’s clarity is natural; therefore we did not have to ransack the world’s clarity reserves to make a delicious beverage.
    Truth #9
  • Some say Lake Tahoe’s legendary water color is actually caused by the reflection from all of Tahoe Blue Vodka’s blue ribbons. We’re not scientists, so we cannot confirm this.
    Truth #42
  • Fun fact, Canadians who visit Lake Tahoe measure the shoreline in kilometers, so if you’re Canadian, you’re actually in Club 116 (whattya think of that, eh?).
    Truth #71
  • Blue is a primary color that can be mixed to create an endless variety of other colors. Tahoe Blue Vodka can be mixed to make an endless variety of tasty cocktails. Coincidence? We think not!
    Truth #62
  • Lake Tahoe contains enough water to supply everyone in America with 50 gallons a day for 5 years. Thanks to Tahoe Blue, you can take some of your share as vodka!
    Truth #23
  • Because of the size of its surface area and its depth, Lake Tahoe is unable to freeze completely during even the coldest winters. Don't worry, though! That does NOT mean that Tahoe Blue Vodka doesn't play nice with ice cubes!
    Truth #37
  • Lake Tahoe is one of the 20 oldest lakes on Earth, at about 2 million years old! That's a lot of time spent perfecting that beautiful blue color.
    Truth #54
  • If you emptied all the water from Lake Tahoe onto an area the size of the state of California, the water would be 14 inches deep! But honestly, who wants to dump out Lake Tahoe?

We are so proud to have been involved and to have helped kick the project off with a $100,000 donation, but even more so, we are thankful for the unwavering dedication of everyone that made this clean up possible. With various challenges such as inclement weather and the devastating Caldor Fire, the team persevered and kept their eye on the goal to clean up all 72 miles of Lake Tahoe’s shoreline. The project has also done a great job raising awareness about the impact trash has on the environment and how we can all be more mindful about consumption and how we dispose of our waste.

Happy Earth Day! 🌎 Today people all over the wo Happy Earth Day! 🌎 Today people all over the world are taking a little extra time to express their love for the planet and how to take better care of it. Though we believe #everydayisearthday and are always proud to find ways for our brand to give back to the environment, here are 3 things anyone can commit to:

♻️ Use Sustainable Products (A little research can go a LONG way)

♻️ Pack It In, Pack It Out (Don’t be a litter bug)

♻️ Say no to plastic straws once and for all. Use paper, metal, sugarcane or even no straws at all (It’s that easy)

Already a champion of these three things? Get involved and attend a local beach cleanup this year! We understand that not everyone can make the trip to support Lake Tahoe clean up efforts so we’ve added a link in our bio to http://nationalcleanup.org where you can search for local clean up events or even plan your own!
